Lithium Americas is seeking a motivated HR Generalist to support and grow our HR function as we build one of North America’s most important lithium projects. In this role, you’ll be involved in all areas of HR, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, benefits, and compliance, while working closely with teams across the U.S. and Canada.
What You’ll Do:
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including benefits, compensation, performance, and employee relations
- Recruit and onboard new hires, coordinating interviews and orientation
- Assist with HR data reporting, compliance, and maintaining personnel records
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies and programs
- Contribute to HR initiatives such as training, recognition, and workforce planning
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of HR experience; mining or industrial environment a plus
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
This position is based in Winnemucca, NV during construction and will transition to the Thacker Pass Project site during commissioning and production.
